Our Rubber and Silicone Department is equipped with modern injection moulding machines with clamping forces between 160 and 800 tons, from renowned manufacturers, i.e. Desma and Engel, as well as conventional hydraulic presses with compressive forces reaching 250 tons.
Our capabilities in the field of rubber injection allow us to produce moulded parts with dimensions up to 1200x1200 mm and weighing up to 12 kg. This offers great possibilities for the production of large-size parts or smaller products on multi-cavity moulds.
Automation of the production process is the main task of the Technical Department, where numerous proprietary solutions in the field of automation and robotics comprise the key know-how of the company and have a significant impact on production costs and product quality.
Machinery park 44 injection moulding machines with a maximum clamping force of up to 800 tons.
Mass production We produce an average of 700,000 items per day.
Continuous production Production takes place 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Strong team We currently employ about 200 people.
Experience We have over 60 years of experience in the rubber industry.
Global reach Our products are exported to more than 30 countries worldwide.
Our resource base covers a full range of rubber and silicone compounds based on SBR, EPDM, NR, CR, NBR, FKM, VMQ rubbers, available in countless hardness and strength variants. We have a wide range of suppliers offering proven formulas of compounds dedicated to particular applications, with requirements defined on the basis of EN, DIN, ISO and ASTM standards or individually tailored to the needs of our customers and their products.
Chemical, thermal, ageing, electrical resistance, approval for use with drinking water, hardness, strength and density are just a few of the many specifications that we follow when selecting the best material for your product.
Strict control of the supply of raw materials used, supported by precise laboratory equipment, ensures repeatability, high product quality and stability of the production process.
The key stage in the preparation for production is making prototypes and serial tools. For more than 15 years, we have been cooperating with a small group of tool-shops, which constantly improve their know-how in machining and use the latest machines for steel processing, i.e. 5-axis machining centres, CNC milling machines and lathes, die-sinking and wire-cutting EDM machines. An experienced team of toolmakers, who know the specifics of the rubber industry, guarantees successful and on-time delivery.
GUMOTIV's Construction Department designs injection moulds, auxiliary and control equipment and complete production lines, and then supervises their construction in the tool-shop. Hundreds of projects completed in recent years have built up our experience and opened up new opportunities for cost-effective and innovative production of rubber products.
