Silicone Division

Our Silicone Department is equipped with modern injection moulding machines with clamping forces between 100 and 450 tons and injection volume up to 4.000 g, which provide wide possibilities of processing HTV (High-temperature-vulcanizing) silicone compounds. The production of silicon products and their processing take place in clean conditions while maintaining high hygiene standards. Precise dosing and process automation guarantee production stability and the highest quality of the products.

We specialize in contract production of medium and large production series. We work with leading manufacturers in the household appliances, electrical, installation and sanitary industries.

Improving the silicone injection technology is a key element of GUMOTIV's development strategy.

We process by injection molding silicone compounds vulcanize with peroxides or platinum in a wide range of hardness from 20 'to 90' ShA and a full range of colors.

Products made of VMQ, FVMQ and PVMQ silicone, depending on the selected recipe, are commonly used as sealing elements and insulators in extremely demanding work environments, where they are exposed to high or low temperatures, static and dynamic loads, high pressures and electrical discharges. We have experience in the production of silicone products with approval for contact with food and drinking water in accordance with global standards, including FDA, BfR, 1935/2004 / EC, KTW, WRAS, KIWA, W270, DVGW, NSF, PZH.

Mould shop and R&D

The key stage in the preparation for production is making prototypes and serial tools. For more than 15 years, we have been cooperating with a small group of tool-shops, which constantly improve their know-how in machining and use the latest machines for steel processing, i.e. 5-axis machining centres, CNC milling machines and lathes, die-sinking and wire-cutting EDM machines. An experienced team of toolmakers, who know the specifics of the rubber industry, guarantees successful and on-time delivery.

GUMOTIV's Construction Department designs injection moulds, auxiliary and control equipment and complete production lines, and then supervises their construction in the tool-shop. Hundreds of projects completed in recent years have built up our experience and opened up new opportunities for cost-effective and innovative production of silicone products.
