Telescopic collars

Rubber telescopic collars (manchettes) act as a tight, movable connection between a smooth or corrugated riser pipe exiting the inspection chamber base and a smooth-walled telescopic pipe leading to a manhole.

The task of the telescopic collar is to compensate stresses resulting from changes in the position of the inspection chamber relative to a straight or multi-inlet base due by climatic factors, natural ground movement and road traffic.  The sleeves are made of SBR rubber compounds and have a standard 60' IRHD hardness class.
